Bistro Hafren is a coffee and tea shop and evening Bistro based in Llanidloes, Powys, Mid Wales. The premises are personally managed by the owner, Stephen Pembroke.
Llanidloes is situated in the upper Severn valley and is in the heart of mid Wales. A popular market town for the visitor during the summer months. One of the very first Laura Ashley shops is here, close to where the business started. There are a number of other individual small shops around a market hall in the heart of the town, while the museum depicts local life down the centuries. It also the home of the Welsh Quilt Exhibition which is open during the summer.
Our philosophy is to ensure that you are looked after on your visit with personal service and a warm welcome. The majority of the food in our menus is produced on the premises. Designed to offer something for everyone, the menu has dishes that range from £6.00 to £12.50 for main courses such as steaks, marinated fish and vegetarian crepes with a choice of starters and desserts if required. Children are very welcome both during the daytime and evening and a children’s menu is available on request.
